The Argonauts - Scatter
The Argonauts are a three piece indie rock band who have been playing music for the past two years. They started out as an instrumental band playing folk music and then progressing through blues, ska and reggae. Finally they decided to introduce vocals, write their own songs and go into a studio to record a three track demo. Their track 'Ellafrell' was played on the BBC Suffolk Introducing show and ever since they've been writing and recording more material and playing gigs in and around Colchester.

Filthy Temples - Green-leafed volatile
The track 'Green Leafed Volatile' was inspired by the ever-changing colours and moods of a tree's annual leaf cycle. Within the track Oliver Squirrel tried to captivate this by layering various guitar riffs and loops all with different sonic variations, tones and depths. All filthy temples tracks are made using live audio guitar recordings and programmable drum loops, it's as simple as that! Lou Terry - Oblivious
“Sensational!” was punk poet John Cooper-Clarke’s reaction to Lou Terry’s first performance of his songs. He picked up the guitar aged 9, and now at 17 is inspired to write his own songs, edgy, and fuelled with emotion. Playing at venues from local pubs to free festivals to Exeter’s Cavern Club, Lou has captivated audiences everywhere.

Sophie Nixon - Lost
Sophie Nixon is a singer, song writer and self-taught guitarist, who has recently taken her early passion for music to higher levels. Performing at many local venues throughout Essex, the Colchester born 16 year old has currently sung her way through to the area finals of the ‘Open Mic UK’ competition, and is now only one step away from performing at the 02 Arena London. With a strong fan base on YouTube, and growing demands for gigs, Sophie strives to pursue a career within the music industry after completing her A-level studies.

Stoney Road - Understand
Stoney Road create an explosive indie rock sound of eccentric drumming, chest pounding bass, forget-me-not guitar lines and ear pleasuring vocals. All the members of Stoney Road met at college whilst studying music at the Colchester Institute September last year, since then they have managed to receive nothing but fantastic reviews and even won Tin Pan Alley’s Battle of the Bands; beating 15 other bands away from the top spot. Stoney Road are constantly writing new originals whilst gigging around Essex and London in preparation for their next E.P release which will be coming very soon!

Fervours - Jigsaw
Fervours are a five piece Post-Hardcore / Rock band from Colchester but have now spread to London, Bristol and Northampton. They consist of members from both Street Light Youth and Exit Music, and after a long period of work and a line-up change have finally settled into their now-recognisable post-hardcore sound.

Elliot Chapman - Gonna Get Over
 Elliot Chapman is a singer/songwriter from Essex, who has written music since he was young and initially began performing with a function band. In the last few years he has been exposed to a wider fan base; featuring on local and national radio, playing across the south east of England and most recently in venues across central London. In 2010, he reached the area finals of ‘Live and Unsigned’. As well as working on a live band project, he is also working on collaborations with producers including an electronica project.

Plaitum - Requiem
Previously named Cilla Blackdeath (name changed for legal reasons), Plaitum developed a cult following for their intricate combination of booming Death Metal bass, thrashing explosive blast beats and Spanish flamenco guitar. Following their extensive recent tour of Luxembourg and Belgium, they settled back down to release their 17th album "ich schol kline wolfgarben Jeremy Kyle" (translated as "ich schol duck Jeremy Kyle's wolfgarben") from which Requiem is taken. Hail Maidley!

Georgie Westall - Open Highway
Georgie Westall is a singer/songwriter from Colchester who began writing songs at just 8 years old. After learning the piano from a young age and teaching herself the guitar and ukulele, her individual style was formed and her passion for creating songs that speak to people’s emotions grew and grew. Georgie is currently studying at The Sixth Form College, Colchester and hopes to pursue a career in the arts so that she can continue with her music.

George Henry King - Silhouette Trees
George Henry King is a seventeen year old, writing lyric-based songs as a solo artist, after having left the band 'The Wasted Youth'. George has since formed a new band, but continues with his solo work.
